Over the past decade, they have been at the forefront of major market developments. MedArbor Pharmacy was launched in 2010 for the processing and shipping of thousands of prescriptions monthly. This evolved into the creation and wholesaling a MedArbor National Drug Code (NDC) product, in combination with MedArbor Physician Dispensing for the contracting, credentialing, wholesaling, and management of hundreds of physician dispensing practices across the country.

In 2015, they diversified into owning and operating commercial and physician-owned clinical laboratories. These labs adopted polymerase chain reaction (PCR)/Molecular testing in 2017, empowering the 2020 birth of MedArbor Diagnostics, one of the earliest validated Covid 19 labs in the country. During this time, their ability to scale and service on demand allowed them to process up to 20,000 samples a day, maintaining a 48 hour turn-around time to provide testing for long term care facilities, hospitals, the NCAA and professional sports teams across the country.

This team of serial entrepreneurs again expanded their portfolio of clinical laboratories, as part of the ownership group who purchased Cordant Health Solutions. Cordant, now rebranded Navis Clinical Laboratories, is one of the premier behavioral lab testing offerings in the market with locations in Washington, New York, and Massachusetts.

Encore Surgical Supply’s ownership team, having achieved massive success in pharmacy and diagnostics, now owns and operates a multi-state clinical practice called Encore Wound Care. Encore Wound Care is one of the fastest growing mobile wound clinics in the country, treating thousands of wounds on a weekly basis. Their experience in running their own practice, while supplying Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and surgical supplies to patients, has allowed for the unique opportunity to share their knowledge and platform with outside groups in a variety of modalities, including orthopedics, podiatry, and dermatology.

Encore Surgical is supported by the Novo Health Care Services software engine, established in 2015 and the “go to” software developer for pharmacy software. Encore’s Novo-based Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Encore’s Wound Tracker, our established billing modules, and Encore’s proprietary surgical platform are all utilized for both physician practices and Encore’s commercial DME. Novo employs over a dozen full time computer programmers and software engineers, providing excellent tech support and the ability to tailor offerings specific to the customer’s needs.
